Jordí Martinez

Jordí began drawing professionally at age 14 at the Bruguera publishing house studio in Barcelona, which published titles such as Pulgarcito, DDT, and Capitão Trueno. In 1975, already in Rio de Janeiro, he worked at the Editora Globo studio, drawing for O Sítio do Picapau Amarelo, producing hundreds of pages for Spectro magazine and over 800 for Chacal. In the 1980s, he moved to São Paulo, where he worked for over 20 years in agencies such as DPZ and Ingrupo, as a creative and illustrator. In 2007, he returned to Barcelona, ​​where he studied life drawing and painting for 10 years. Back in Brazil, he created the video course Figura sem Stress . Currently, the Chacal series and stories from Spektro are being republished, while he produces new works for other publishers.
