Carol Ito

Carol Ito is a journalist and comic book artist, author of the comic strip series "Novo Anormal" in Tpm magazine. In 2022, she received the Vladimir Herzog Award for Amnesty and Human Rights in the "Art" category for her comic strip report "Três mulheres da Craco", published in Piauí magazine. She is the author of three comic books, including "Siriricas Tristes e Outras (In)Felicidades" (Veneta Publishing), and was the first woman to draw cartoons live on the TV Cultura program Roda Vida.
