Daniel Lopes

Daniel Lopes was born in São José dos Campos in 1985 and graduated in Economics from UNESP. He co-authored the three books in the Comics in Cinema series, released between 2011 and 2013. He also worked as an editor and translator for Panini Comics between 2012 and 2017, being one of those responsible for titles from DC Comics and the Vertigo label. Since 2010, he has been part of Pipoca & Nanquim, a YouTube channel specializing in pop culture, which became a publishing house in 2017. He has worked on and published some of the most important works of world comics in Brazil and edited original comics by big names in the national scene, such as Jefferson Costa, Bianca Pinheiro, Pedro Mauro, Camilo Solano, and Guilherme Petreca. 100 Albums to Discover Aguardela, created in partnership with Raphael Salimena, is his first book as an author.
