João Eddie

João Eddie is a comic book artist from Rio Grande do Sul, influenced by manga, who began his career in 2011 and won his first award at the Brazil Manga Awards. In 2014, he had a work published in the collection Dracomics Shonen. He has won six awards at the Silent Manga Audition, an international competition promoted by the Japanese publisher Coamix, two of them in the highest category. He also received a UNESCO Award for his one-shot, "Invisible," published in a catalog distributed to schools in Thailand. In 2022, he released the sci-fi manga "Joy Comet," and in 2024, the drama "O Brilho de Beatrix."
