César Sandoval

Cesar Sandoval, creator of famous comic book and animation characters both in Brazil and internationally, including Turma do Arrepio and Os Trapalhões. Turma do Arrepio is a comic book series created by Cesar Sandoval, first released in 1989 and published by Editora Globo until 1993. Altogether, the collection includes forty-three comic book issues and one special almanac. In 1997, Rede Manchete aired a 45-minute TV series at 5 p.m. based on Turma do Arrepio, which featured two different casts. In 2009, Turma do Arrepio was reissued, this time by Editora As Américas.

Sandoval is also a designer of animation, children’s books, and comic books. He specialized in creating characters for comics and TV commercials.
