Geraldo Borges is an artist from Ceará with over 25 years of experience in the comic book industry. He has worked for major North American publishers such as DC Comics, Marvel, Image, and Heavy Metal, illustrating characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Nightwing, X-Men, Darth Vader, and the Thunderbolts. He is currently the regular artist for the new Dick Tracy series. In addition to his work as a teacher, Borges founded the Quadriños Estudio art school in Brazil in 2011, with the goal of training new talent. He later expanded this initiative to Chile, where he also co-founded the agency ArtistGO!, which represents South American artists in the international comics market. Together with Chilean writer Claudio Álvarez, he co-created El Último Detective, a comic book published in several countries and translated into nine languages (released in Brazil by Conrad Editora). He is also the co-creator of No/One, alongside Kyle Higgins and Brian Buccellato, published by Image Comics, which is set to be adapted into a feature film by the same production company behind Paranormal Activity. The artist’s presence at CCXP25 is a partnership between the event and Editora Trem Fantasma.
