Jairo Moreno

Jairo Moreno was born in Nova Europa (SP) in 1958. He worked as an advertising illustrator for 45 years at major agencies in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, but never left behind his passion as a comic book reader and collector. He now makes his debut in a full-length graphic novel, Cangaceira, illustrating the story that will be inked by his brother, Pedro Mauro. He is currently working on another graphic novel, written by Franco de Rosa and also set in the Brazilian backlands. He currently lives in Itu (SP). The artist’s presence at CCXP25 is a partnership between the event and Trem Fantasma publishing house.
