Rafael Albuquerque

Born in Porto Alegre, Rafael Albuquerque has been working in the American comic book industry since 2004. Known for titles such as ALL STAR BATMAN, ANIMAL MAN, and BATGIRL, Rafael has also developed original works like MONDO URBANO (2010), EIGHT (2015), HUCK (2015), and most notably AMERICAN VAMPIRE (2010), written by Scott Snyder and Stephen King. The series won both the Eisner and Harvey Awards and was a New York Times bestseller. His most recent work includes DETECTIVE COMICS, HUCK Vol. 2, and SUPERMAN UNLIMITED, a title released by DC Comics to coincide with the new Superman film.
