Sara Pichelli

Sara Pichelli is mostly known for co-creating Miles Morales, the new Spider-Man. Before 2008 she worked few years in the Italian animation business as storyboarder and character designer untile she won the worldwide artistic contest launched by Marvel. Since then she's been working on many different Marvel titles (NYX, X-Men, Namora, Runaways, etc...) until she was selected as the main artist of the second volume of Ultimate Comics: SpiderMan.

Winner of the Eagle Award and the Harvey Award in 2011, and twice the Stan Lee Awards, in 2014 she was among the new Marvel Young Guns ( it's a selection that represents the best and brightest early-career artists in the comic book industry).

After 2014 she worked on the re-launch of The Guardians of The Galaxy (drawing the run where we see the rst appearance in the Marvel Universe of Angela from Spawn, written by Neil Gaiman), All New X-men and the rst chapter of the special story of Spider-Men. In 2017 Sara comes back on Spider-Man (where Miles Morales is now an ofcial Spider-Man in the regular Marvel Universe) and draws the second chapter of Spider-Men. Right after she worked on the relaunch of Fantastic Four, written by Dan Slott. And right after that she did a mini-series along with J.J. and Henry Abrams on a new Spider-Man title. In 2023 she launched the new solo series of Scarlet Witch for Marvel.
