Bruno Porto

Graphic designer and comics researcher, he has curated visual arts exhibitions in Brazil and in countries across South America, Asia, and Europe. He is the author of award-winning books on design, communication, and comics, including ARQUIVO OTA (2024), Atribulações de um Designer Brasileiro (2021), and Typographic Memories of Rio de Janeiro (2019). A member of the Advisory Board of the Latin American Typography Biennial Tipos Latinos and the Brazilian Association of Sequential Arts Scholars (ASPAS), he is a regular contributor to the Eurocomics channel and the Lasercast podcast. Currently based in Canada, he is pursuing a PhD in comic book cover design at Tilburg University.
