Rafael Coutinho

Rafael Coutinho is a designer, animator, visual artist, and comic book creator. Born in São Paulo in 1980, he graduated in Visual Arts from UNESP in 2004. As a comic book author, he wrote the books Cachalote, Mensur, and O Beijo Adolescente, which was adapted into an HBO MAX series in 2024. He has also illustrated major classics such as 1984, The Surprising Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and Forrest Gump.
