Born in Rio de Janeiro, Leandro Assis was a TV and cinema screenwriter, having worked in shows such as "Magnífica 70" (HBO) and "Mulher Invisível" (Globo). He also won an Emmy for his work in 2012. In 2018, Assis moved to Portugal, where he started writing and illustrating internet comics. Alongside Triscila Oliveira, he worked on "Os Santos" and "Confinada", an award-winning title for the 33rd HQ Mix Awards in the Web Comics category.
